Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information this website (the "Site"), operated by Miguel Humbria, a Brandland Studio LLC product, collects, how that information is used, and what choices you have. This page describes the Site's actual practices as it works today, and it will be updated if those practices change.

Information We Collect: Contact Form

When you complete the contact form, we collect the information you provide directly: name, email address, company (optional), professional role (optional), inquiry type, and your message. If you reach the form from a specific service page, we also include that service's name to give context to your inquiry. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Information We Collect: Newsletter Subscription

When you subscribe to receive Insights by email, or download a free resource from the Site, we collect your name, email address, and your explicit consent. We do not request any other information for this subscription.

Consent

Both forms require you to explicitly check a consent checkbox before they can be submitted. Submission is not possible without that consent. This is verified both on the form and on the server.

Email Service Provider (Brevo)

We use Brevo as our email service provider to manage newsletter subscriptions and resource-download delivery. When you subscribe, your name, email address, consent, language, and the page you subscribed from are sent to Brevo to create or update your contact record, and your subscription becomes active immediately — there is no confirmation email required before you can access a requested resource or receive Insights emails. Brevo acts as our service provider for this purpose and processes this information under its own privacy policy.

Email Communications and Unsubscribing

Once you subscribe, we will send you emails related to new Insights published on the Site, or the resource you requested. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, handled directly by Brevo. You do not need to contact us to stop receiving these emails.

Analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed and which Insights or resources get the most interest. This only runs if you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit; if you decline, or simply don't decide, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics never load and no data is sent to Google. Google Analytics data is processed under Google's own privacy policy.

Advertising

This Site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure the performance of our own ad campaigns and to understand which visitors later engage with those campaigns. Like Google Analytics, this only runs if you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit; if you decline, or simply don't decide, the Meta Pixel never loads and no data is sent to Meta. We do not share Site visitor data with Meta for any purpose beyond measuring our own campaigns. Meta processes this information under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

The Site uses a functional cookie to remember your preferred language (Spanish or English) between visits. If you are a content editor using the draft-preview feature in Sanity Studio, a technical session cookie is also used for that function. If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel also set their own cookies to distinguish visitors; you can withdraw that acceptance at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this Site, which shows the banner again on your next visit.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service that processes visitors' personal information is Brevo, for managing newsletter subscriptions and resource delivery (see above). The Site's editorial content is managed with Sanity, a content management system that does not receive or process personal information from Site visitors.

Data Retention

Information submitted through the contact form is used to respond to your inquiry and is not retained longer than necessary for that purpose. Newsletter subscriber information is retained by Brevo for as long as your subscription remains active, until you unsubscribe or request its deletion.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, but no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Privacy Requests

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask any question about this policy, contact us through the Site's contact form. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. To stop receiving the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link included in any email you receive.

International Data Processing

Brevo is a service provider based in the European Union. If you subscribe to the newsletter or download a resource, your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect real changes in how the Site works. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
